WEEK 4 : Second Visit & Observing Business Progress at H & Z G Agrofarm
Date : 16 - 20 June
Location : H & Z G Agrofarm, Pauh
Focus : Follow-up Visit, Business Update, Operational Activities
Second Visit - Checking On Progress
In Week 4, we conducted our second visit to H & Z G Agrofarm to observe their progress since our first visit and to collect updated evidence of business operations. This follow-up visit helped us assess the impact of our previous recommendations and capture real-time developments happening at the farm.
Observed Improvements :
During our second visit, we noticed several improvements in both operations and product offerings. The business appeared more structured, and we observed more organized customer service efforts. Our team was happy to see that the farm was moving forward with confidence and energy.
New Business Activity - Cooked Meat Orders for Events :
One of the exciting updates was that the farm had started accepting cooked meat orders, especially goat dished for events like aqiqah and kenduri (traditional feasts). This new service opens up another income stream while meeting community demand, particularly from their Muslim customer base.
This show that H & Z G Agrofarm is beginning to diversify its offerings beyond just livestock and frozen products, it is a great move in line with our digital marketing focus on targeted service promotion.
Livestock Management - Arrival of New Cattle :
We also witnessed the arrival of new cows being placed into the barn. This is part of the farm's ongoing effort to scale their livestock supply and better manage their meat production process.
The staff ensured the cows were transferred smoothly, and the barn was properly prepared to welcome them in a positive sign of organized farm management.
Frozen Meat Products - New Business Focus
In addition to live animals and cooked orders, H & Z G Agrofarm is now selling frozen beef and goat meat. This step adds value by allowing them to preserve products for longer shelf life and reach customers who may not be able to visit the farm regularly.
This move also reflects digital marketing potential, as frozen products are easier to promote and sell online through posts, pre-orders, and delivery services.
Reflection :
The second visit to H & Z G Agrofarm showed us real, measurable progress. From accepting cooked orders for special events to managing livestock entry and selling frozen meat, the farm is expanding both its operations and its vision. We are proud to witness these improvements and will continue supporting their journey through strategic guidance and documentation.
We believe these new developments will contribute positively to their business growth and enhance their visibility in the online market, especially within the local Muslim community.
